CLEARFIELD – A woman accused of breaking into the same home twice waived her right to a preliminary hearing on Wednesday.
Amy Sue Peterman faces two counts of two counts of burglary, two counts of criminal trespass, and a number of other related charges.
According to court records, Peterman was taken in to the Clearfield Borough Police Station for questioning on Dec. 29 about an Ogden Avenue home that was burglarized.
Officers showed Peterman, 34, a surveillance tape of what appeared to be Peterman inside the home.
Peterman reportedly wrote a confession to police. According to that confession, Peterman said she broke into the home on two separate occasions for prescription pain medication.
Peterman is in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.
