BROCKWAY – A fire that destroyed a Brockway native James Bailley’s home was ruled an accident by state police and Friendship Hose Company fire officials.
The fire occurred on Jan. 12. According to the report, the fire started in the garage and was the result of direct flame from a wood stove, and then destroyed Bailley’s wood-framed, split-entry home as well as the garage. The total loss was estimated at $170,000.
No injuries were reported from the fire.
