CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Commissioners will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday to adopt the 2007 budget.
Next year’s budget does not call for a tax increase, but it was only given tentative approval in a 2-to-1 vote earlier this month.
In a previous GantDaily article, Commissioner Mike Lytle said he voted against the budget because certain departments were given salary increases ranging from 3 to 10 percent.
Commissioner Rex Read said the fluctuations were present because some supervisors were making less money than those they supervised.
