CLEARFIELD – New York resident Kewan Roberts was sentenced Tuesday for his role in the DuBois area drug bust that took place on June 13.
Roberts was accused of two counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, heroin, and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Roberts pleaded guilty to three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Clearfield County Judge Paul E. Cherry sentenced Roberts to five months to two years at a state correctional institution. He is to complete drug and alcohol counseling in his county of residence, was ordered to pay fines and costs, and was placed on two years probation to run concurrent to the above sentence. Roberts was also ordered to submit to DNA testing at a cost of $250.
Roberts is just one of the more 48 people arrested on June 13. to come to sentencing court recently.
