PORT MATILDA – A man who bought cigarettes for a minor will have charges filed against him.
State police at Philipsburg reported that a 63-year-old Port Matilda man was purchasing cigarettes and giving them to a 14-year-old State College girl for about one year. The last incident occurred Nov. 20.
The girl was questioned about the incident by a family member. Police were then contacted to investigated the matter.
Police report that a citation will be filed, charging the man with furnishing tobacco products to minors.
