CLEARFIELD – Should vehicles be allowed to park between the curb and their property line?
Clearfield Borough is pondering the issue, and it has directed the solicitor to draft an ordinance to clear up some wording in the code.
“There’s cars that are parked on the easement … there is a gray area there,” said Clearfield Borough Mayor Patty Gilliland.
Gilliland said she knows of some areas, though, where the easement is the only place to park.
“Cemetery Road, for example.”
The proposed ordinance could be unveiled at the next council meeting in December.
