Bellefonte easily won the 8th grade game 26-12, though Clearfield did close the gap in the second half on a kickoff return for a touchdown and a 30 yard touchdown reception by Derek Danver.
The 9th grade game was a see-saw battle that ended with Clearfield on the winning side by a 16-8 final.
Bellefonte had the early 8-0 lead, but Clearfield fought their way back all game long. The score was 8-2 at the half after Clearfield stuffed a Bellefonte runner in the end zone.
Derek Danver then had a long interception return to set up Trey Campman for a short quarterback sneak to tie the score. Luke Bell sprinted around the right end for the 2-point conversion and give Clearfield their first lead at 10-8.
Trey Campman sealed the deal for the Bisons as he out raced the Bellefonte secondary for a 70 yard touchdown run to set the final.
