CLEARFIELD – Mature Resources Area Agency on Aging and the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture have announced that they have exhausted their allotment of farmers market vouchers for Clearfield County for the 2024 season.
Mature Resources, the Department of Agriculture and the farmers who participated in the program wish to thank everyone who made this program a success.
This year, 2,200 residents 65 or older participated in the program, receiving five, $10 vouchers valued at $11,000 to spend at local farmer markets.
Also, as a reminder, residents have until Nov. 30 to use vouchers for fall produce at any Pennsylvania farmers market or orchard accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
