DuBois- The Greater DuBois Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development has announced the hiring of Luke Kneidel as the new Marketing and Communications Manager.
Kneidel was born and raised in St. Marys, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Sales.
After graduation, Luke moved to Nashville, Tennessee where he worked for Amazon Corporate. After two years, he then relocated to Chicago, Illinois and was a Office Manager for a large banking investment firm. Following a time in Chicago, Luke decided to relocate back to his roots in St. Marys and bring his skills and knowledge to his local community.
Luke has many years in client-focused roles and is ready to connect with the DuBois community and learn the ins and outs of the city.
“He is excited to create long-lasting relationships with the leaders and members of the surrounding area. He has fresh ideas he is excited to bring to the Chamber to help promote this area’s great businesses,” according to Jodi August, Executive Director.
In Luke’s spare time, you can catch him serving or bartending at Wildwoods Bar & Grill in St. Marys or exploring a new hiking trail with his dog Nash. He enjoys being in nature, traveling to new places, and catching up with his friends. Luke is excited to experience a Central PA Fall again and attend all the local celebrations and festivals the local area has to offer.
