by Gavin Fish

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) — Brookville Police say they responded to a call for help earlier this month because of a domestic disturbance involving three adults who were arguing over whether one of them could leave the residence.

According to a news release, the incident occurred at approximately 3:08 p.m. on August 17 and escalated after a 49-year-old male suspect allegedly harassed two women, ages 43 and 61.

Upon arrival at the Pine Street residence, officers found multiple individuals, including juveniles, involved in a loud altercation.

The suspect reportedly threatened to slash the tires of the older woman and refused to allow the younger woman to leave the house.

No further information was released.
