Redevelopment Authority of Clearfield County Conducting Demographic Survey in Girard Township Area

GIRARD TOWNSHIP – The Redevelopment Authority of Clearfield County has announced that staff will be conducting a demographic survey to apply for funding to assist the Girard Township Municipal Authority with sewage system improvements.

Girard Township has identified the need for improvements to the sewage system to continue reliable service to the area.

A random selection of GTMA customers will receive a survey in the mail, a phone call, and if needed, door-to-door contact. This survey will conclude on Sept. 21, 2024.

According to Lisa Kovalick, RACC executive director, this survey will help identify funding sources for the municipal authority to address those upgrades needed at the GTMA sewage treatment plant.

The survey is approximately six questions, and staff ask for the residents’ cooperation and assistance during this short survey, as they continue their mission of creating healthy, safe and prosperous neighborhoods in Clearfield County.
