CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Historical Society is pleased to announce the appointment of a new member to the Board of Directors, Nathan Jones of Morrisdale, originally from Houtzdale.
Nathan is a graduate of Moshannon Valley High School and went onto Lycoming College earning a Bachelor’s degree in Biology. He works for the Houtzdale Municipal Authority and is the father of two children, Hutch and Hattie.
Nathan has been involved in coaching youth sports and enjoys spending time at his camp, hunting and following Penn State wrestling. His interests in history include metal detecting, relic hunting and antique bottle collecting. Nathan has a vast knowledge of the rich history from the Houtzdale and surrounding community. The Clearfield County Historical Society strives to preserve and share history and they welcome Nathan aboard to aid in their mission.
