BIGLER – Are you seeking a fun outing to combat the winter blues with your family?
Or, have you always wanted to attend a dance that caters to all family members?
Well, the IT students at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) have organized a 90’s Winter Family Dance event to meet your needs, and on Jan. 26, from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., they will host it at the Bigler YMCA.
All are welcome—couples, families and singles. Tickets are priced at $20 for a family of five, and can be purchased at Spanky’s Courthouse Cafe and the CCCTC in Clearfield.
For further inquiries, please contact jmick@ccctc.edu or 814-765-5308, ext. 301.
Additionally, a basket raffle will take place during the event, with all proceeds benefiting Keystone Family Alliance so it can purchase computers for foster families.
Keystone Family Alliance is comprised of representatives from different churches around the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
It aims to educate, motivate and equip Christians on the needs of orphans and vulnerable children, both locally and globally.
And, it has continued this mission and vision within Clearfield County. Expansion within Clearfield County happened formally in November 2023, with preparations beginning earlier that year through work with the Clearfield Ministerium.
Keystone Family Alliance, which originated within Centre County in 2008, bridges the gap between the desperate need in the child welfare system and Pennsylvania churches.
By engineering wraparound Care Communities, operating an online portal to connect community volunteers and helping to recruit additional foster/adoptive families, Keystone Family Alliance provides tangible support, prayer, resources and aid, resulting in much-needed support for foster, kinship, adoptive and biological families within the community.
