Penn State Extension Offers an Agronomic Pesticide Update for Applicators

CLEARFIELD – Public and private pesticide applicators can get their re-certification credits by attending an agronomic pesticide update workshop offered by Penn State Extension.

The Clearfield County update meeting will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Curwinsville Community Center, 11 Stadium Dr., Curwinsville, PA 16833. 

The meeting will begin at 10 a.m., with the effects of water quality on pesticide performance and will conclude at 12 p.m., after a discussion of common pests on field and forest edges.

The Penn State Extension Agronomic Pesticide Update is a traditional Core (two credits) and Category (two credits) session for private pesticide applicators. However, any applicator may attend.
