WASHINGTON TWP, Pa. (EYT) — A 66-year-old man from Indiana, PA, reported a significant theft involving his AT&T account to the PSP Indiana Patrol Unit.

According to the man’s report, unidentified individuals compromised his account and made unauthorized purchases. The items charged to his account included 14 iPhone 15 Pro Maxes and three Apple Watches. The total value of the fraudulent charges is estimated to be around $16,000.

The incident, classified as theft, occurred on Dutch Run Road in Washington Township, Indiana County. The individual reported the incident at the lobby of the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Indiana office.

The investigation is ongoing.
