CLEARFIELD – A Houtzdale man was taken into custody Tuesday following a warrant service and drug violation.
According to Lawrence Township police, Fred Hockenburry, 29, was located at a Hill Street Extension residence, Clearfield, during a separate investigation.
Officers reportedly detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from within the residence. Several wanted individuals were located inside including Hockenburry.
A search turned up heroin, prescription medications and numerous items of drug paraphernalia, which allegedly belonged to Hockenburry.
He was housed in Clearfield County Jail on warrants through the sheriff’s office. Other individuals were taken into custody on warrants through Clearfield Borough police.
Hockenburry will face charges for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, according to the police report.
