Lawrence Twp.

Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle from a Palmer St. residence.  Officers worked with Onstar and located the vehicle.  While attempting to make the vehicle stop, the driver, Torre Stucke, 35, of Clearfield failed to yield and returned to the residence.  When officers confronted Stucke he resisted arrest.  He was ultimately taken to the ground and arrested for unauthorized use of a vehicle and related charges.

Lawrence Twp. and Clearfield Borough police were dispatched for a report by a frantic truck diver who was being chased throughout the borough by several cars.  The driver was located and stopped by police.  Upon investigation it was discovered that the driver, a 34 year old male from Missouri, was under the influence of methamphetamine.  He was transported to Penn Highlands Clearfield for a legal blood draw.  Charges are pending.

State police are investigating a report of theft of a Woodland resident.  Unknown actor(s) hacked the victim’s accounts and used credit card information to steal money.  The investigation continues.

State police arrested a 40 year old Philipsburg man for harassment.

State police charged Darlene Waugaman, 43, of Cherry Tree after she cashed a bounced check at Leyo’s IGA in Beccaria Twp. 

State police responded to an accident at Snappy’s in Houtzdale Borough.  The female driver reported that her boot got stuck on the accelerator and caused her vehicle to travel over the curb and into the front of the building.  The building received heavy damage to the front entry doors.  No injuries were reported. 

State police investigated a fight on a school bus in Bigler Twp.

State police were contact about possible drugs found in a hotel room at the Kylertown Truck Stop.  The investigation continues.
