CLEARFIELD – Clearfield Area United Way volunteers recently held a monthly board meeting at Rebecca Park with social distancing measures in place.
President Debbie Bowser reported that the 23 local member health and human service agencies, helped year-round by United Way, are in even greater need this year. So, she said they were especially thankful for volunteers taking the initiative with the “pace-setter” portion of its 2020-21 fall campaign.
United Way’s campaign goal is $210,000, and tax-deductible donations can be mailed to: 18 N. Second St., P.O. Box 1430, Clearfield, PA 16830. “We need new gifts to continue to make differences in eastern, southern and central Clearfield County,” Bowser said.
