Curwensville Lake to Host Weekend Events

Curwensville-  Staff at Curwensville Lake have announced that they will host multiple events this weekend.

Beach Bingo will kick off the weekend starting Friday at 7 p.m. in Pavilion 5.  Tables will be spaced under and around pavilion to offer a socially distanced opportunity to play bingo and have some fun.

There is a $3 per car entrance fee and $1 per card.  Players will have the opportunity to win cash, gift certificates and beach-themed prizes.

Saturday will feature a repeat of last week’s  very successful Beach Party with the addition of a DJ this week from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.  Inflatables on the water, sprinklers, beach toys and free sno-cones are part of this fun family event.  Again, there will be a $3 per car entrance fee.

The public can take advantage of Sunday evening’s “no gate fee” admission from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and attend the Luau at the Beach starting at 6 p.m.

Decorations, leis, DJ and a limbo contest will be part of the fun.

Kent’s concessions will feature Hawaiian pizza and monkey bread plus the Ice House Café will have pineapple shaved ice cream for purchase.

Curwensville Lake offers a large beach and swimming area, picnic tables and grills, 15 miles of hiking trails and two boat launches all included with park entry fee of $3 per car / $5 with watercraft.

Electric and primitive camping sites and pavilions are available for rent along with canoes, kayaks and paddleboards.
