DuBois Youth Wrestling had 23 wrestlers participate in the Area V Youth Championship Tournament that was held on Feb. 23. There were seven Area V champions and three runners-up with nine qualifying for the Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling Youth State Championship Tournament, which will be held March 14-15 at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh. It was also noted that 6U wrestlers do not compete at PJW States.
