DUBOIS – The DuBois Central Catholic (DCC) boys basketball team took care of visiting Curwensville on Tuesday evening 54-37.
In early January the Cardinals defeated the Tide at Curwensville, 45-30.
The Tide started out well, leading 10-9 after one quarter but then would proceed to lose the last three quarters by a combined score of 45-27 to go down to defeat.
Curwensville, now 2-16 overall, had Trevor Lansberry as its leading scorer on the night with 10 points.
The Cardinals had three players in double digits, led by 12 each from Parker Maholick and Damon Foster, while Jalen Kosko added 10 tallies.
DCC also won the junior varsity game by a score of 31-22 over Curwensville. High scorer for the Golden Tide was Jayson Rowles with 13 points.
Curwensville is on the road again this coming Friday with a trip to Sheffield to play the Wolves. JV action tips off at 6 pm with the varsity game to immediately follow.
