- Police received a report about an intoxicated male Thursday at the Snappy’s Convenience Store in Clearfield. According to police, 31-year-old Cody Husted of Clearfield was found passed out at a customer table at Kentucky Fried Chicken. He was subsequently escorted from the restaurant, and resisted officers who attempted to cuff him. Husted had to be taken to the ground, as he continued to fight with them. Further investigation allegedly revealed that he’d stolen merchandise from Snappy’s, and that he was under the influence of controlled substances. Because he was on probation, he was transported to and housed at the Clearfield County Jail. Police say Husted continued to fight with officers until arrival at the jail. He’s facing charges of felony retail theft, misdemeanor receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct and summary public drunkenness.
