For the second year in a row, Curwensville Area High School senior Madi Weber was rewarded for her all-around play by being the Moshannon Valley Girls Basketball League head coaches’ choice for Most Valuable Player laurels.

The 5-11 guard poured in 460 points, a 21.0 average, to become the Lady Tide’s No. 2 all-time scorer with 1,309 points, trailing only the 1,525 total recorded by 2015 graduate Ciara Strickland.

The other MVL All-Stars are senior Hailey Prestash of West Branch and sophomore Olivia Reese and freshman Kyla Campbell of Glendale.

The final MVL standings – Moshannon Valley 8-0, West Branch 5-3, Glendale 5-3, Curwensville 2-6, Harmony 0-8.
