Lefort’s Sweet Shoppe Opens in Downtown Clearfield

CLEARFIELD – Lefort’s Sweet Shoppe recently opened its doors at 117 E. Market St., in downtown Clearfield.  It’s located at the former Neeper’s Sweet Treats.

CASD Approves Several Agreements

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Area Board of School Directors approved reports from the education and personnel committees and the buildings, finance and activities committee as well as several agreements and other items at Monday night’s school board meeting.

Trial Under Way in Madera Man’s Homicide Case

CLEARFIELD – The trial got under way Monday in Clearfield County Court for the Madera man who has been accused in the fatal stabbing of Joshua A. Sahm of Blandburg in March of 2018.

CLEARFIELD – After deliberating for approximately two hours and 41 minutes Thursday afternoon, a jury of eight women and four men convicted a 20-year-old Madera man of third-degree murder.
