BROCKWAY – The Curwensville Lady Tide traveled to Brockway on Friday night and picked up win number four on the season, 45-40 over the Lady Rovers.
At Curwensville, in early January, Brockway won a close one over the Lady Tide 34-32.
A big second quarter, won by Curwensville, 15-6, gave the Lady Tide a six point lead at the intermission, 27-21.
Both teams played an even second 16 minutes with Brockway having the edge, by one tally, 19-18.
Madison Weber of Curwensville led all scorers with a game high of 20 points.
The Lady Rovers had two girls hit for double figures with Morgan Lindemuth scoring 16 and Danielle Wood adding 13.
In junior varsity action Brockway defeated the Lady Tide by a score of 28-11.
Curwensville (4-10) is off until Wednesday when they entertain Glendale with the JV game tipping off at 6 pm and the varsity to immediately follow.
On January 16 the Lady Vikings defeated the Lady Tide at Glendale 53-40.
