MEN’S BASKETBALL
GRANTHAM — Sophomore starting center Cody Spaid (Clearfield) led Pitt-Greensburg in rebounds with seven and assists with four in a 76-47 non-conference loss to host Messiah Saturday.
He also scored seven points and blocked one shot for the 1-2 Bobcats.
Spaid has netted 22 points, shooting 58.8 percent from the floor, and pulled down 19 missed shots. He has eight assists, two steals and three blocks.

DUBOIS — Sophomore center Trey Rauckhorst (Curwensville) scored nine points and pulled down nine rebounds in Penn State DuBois’ two non-conference games last week.
The Lions bounced back from a 104-101 road loss to Butler County Community College on Nov. 20 with a 77-65 win over visiting Community College of Allegheny County Boyce Campus the next night that evened their record at 2-2.
In the four games with three starts, Rauckhorst has recorded 32 points, 28 rebounds, one assist and three blocks.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
WILLIAMSPORT — Freshman center Christine Limbert (Curwensville) grabbed three rebounds in a reserve role for Penn College of Technology in an 88-35 non-conference loss to host Lycoming Nov. 21.
She has scored eight points and collared 22 rebounds with one assist, two steals and one block for the 1-3 Wildcats.

FOOTBALL
PITTSBURGH — Redshirt sophomore fullback Erik Sellers (Clearfield) played on special teams in seven games for Pitt, which closed its season on a high note by shocking undefeated and No. 2-ranked Miami 24-14 in front of 35,978 fans at Heinz Field Friday afternoon.
The Panthers finished 3-5 in the Atlantic Coast Conference Coastal Division and 5-7 overall.
