Rohingya refugees need your help

Up to 400,000 Rohingya refugees have fled violence in Myanmar and are seeking refuge in Bangladesh, according to the United Nations.

The Rohingya, an ethnic minority, have been denied citizenship by Myanmar for generations.

Food and basic safety are constant worries for the refugees as they flee Myanmar.

There are several organizations on the ground in Bangladesh to help the arriving refugees:

Partners Relief & Development is providing seeds and fertilizer to help establish a sustainable food supply. They are also bringing in basic medical support and tarps for shelter.

The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) is providing shelter materials, water, blankets, sleeping mats and other supplies.
