BREAKING: State Police Attempting to Identify Retail Theft Suspects

PUNXSUTAWNEY – State police at Punxsutawney are attempting to identify a male and female who allegedly stole more than $400 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart.

According to state police, the incident occurred at 10:28 a.m. Thursday. The male walked out of the front entrance without paying for a Barnet Whitetail Hunter 2 crossbow and possible Broadhead arrowheads.

The crossbow and arrowheads were valued at $357 and $44.97, respectively. The total value of the stolen items was $401.90. State police say the female suspect who entered with the male left at a different time.

State police described the male as being between 25 and 35 years old. He’s approximately 6 feet, 2 inches tall and 175 pounds with a light brown beard and mustache.

He was wearing a black hat with a red cross on the front; a black, sleeveless shirt with white letters on the front and a skull in the middle; black shorts; and brown shoes that were like sandals.

The male also has a tattoo from his right shoulder to the middle of his bicep. He left in a white Chevrolet sedan.

State police described the female as being between 40 and 55 years old. She is approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and 190 pounds with short brown hair.

She was wearing a red shirt with yellow letters; a long-sleeved, blue sweatshirt/coat; blue jeans; and pink sandals. She was also carrying a light brown/pink purse.
