State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred sometime between Friday and Monday at Swisher Contracting, Clearfield. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a case of grease and four car batteries, which have a total value of $280.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of burglary that occurred between Friday and Sunday on Coal Hill Road in Brady Township. During the incident, someone allegedly forcibly gained entry to the victim’s residence and removed items. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at DuBois at 814-371-4652.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Friday at a Bennetts Valley Highway address in Weedville. During the incident, a man allegedly grabbed the victim around the throat and shoved him against the wall. Charges were filed through the district court as a result.
Lawrence Township
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a child on Park Avenue Extension.
- Police are investigating a possible theft at a local business in Hyde.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft from a resident on Park Avenue Extension.
- Police received a report about possible drug activity in the area of Park Avenue Extension.
- Police responded to a motor vehicle accident at Sapp Bros. Truck Stop. No injuries were reported as a result, police said.
- Police received a report about missing medication in the Goldenrod area.
- Police responded to a minor accident at a business on Route 879. Minor damage was reported to the vehicles, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged incident of theft from a business on Leonard Street. It remains under investigation at this time.
- Police responded to an alarm at a business on Daisy Street Extension. Upon arrival, police found everything to be OK.
Sandy Township
- On Friday police received a report about a false alarm at Sally Beauty.
- On Friday a man arrived to complete maintenance on a house that is in foreclosure in Treasure Lake. According to him, upon arrival, he heard what appeared to be someone inside, so he left and called police. Upon investigation, there wasn’t anyone found inside.
- On Friday employees of Animal Health Services reported receiving a check that was returned for insufficient funds from the bank. It had been written by a 69-year-old Punxsutawney woman for services rendered to her. Charges are to be filed against her as a result.
- On Friday police received a report about a male and female who were traveling in a white car and going through the dumpster at DuBois Drug and Wellness. However, the couple was gone upon police arrival.
- On Saturday Wal-Mart employees reported finding a woman passed out inside her vehicle in the parking lot. Officers were able to get the 23-year-old Curwensville woman to wake up. She was transported to Penn Highlands Hospital by emergency personnel for evaluation and treatment.
- On Saturday police received a report about a false alarm at FedEx.
- On Sunday police received a report about a false alarm at the Law and Finance Building.
- On Sunday a Maple Avenue resident was trimming his yard when a rock flew out and hit a vehicle driven by a 56-year-old Sykesville woman. Minor damage and no injuries were reported as a result, police said.
