CASD Announces 2017 Board Meeting Schedule

CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Area School District would like to publicly announce its board meeting schedule for 2017. Meetings are held at 6 p.m. in the library at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School.

DUBOIS – An extension cord being improperly used was the cause of an accidental house fire Saturday afternoon at 121 Robinson St., DuBois, reported the state police at DuBois.

Electors Faithful to Trump, Select him as Official Winner

Donald Trump has surpassed the necessary 270 votes in the Electoral College, the next step in the official process to become President. He was put over the top by electors in Texas. The Electoral College results will be officially certified January 6 during a joint session of Congress.

Reynoldsville Man Accused of Attempting to Stab, Threatening Two Men with Knife

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP – A 32-year-old Reynoldsville man, Jordan M. Bogacki, has been accused of trying to stab and threatening to kill two men who tried to help him after he wrecked his vehicle Sunday night in Winslow Township.
