State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred Sept. 17 on Buttonwood Street in Fleming. During the incident, someone allegedly removed medications and money from the victim’s residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Philipsburg at 814-342-3370.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred Sept. 12 on Route 949 in Corsica, Union Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole an adult female, an adult male and two, five-week-old Walker coon hounds that belonged to the victim. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received reports about two incidents of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred Tuesday at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The victims told state police that someone smashed a window on their vehicle and removed a purse from inside. It occurred during daylight hours while people were present for a youth soccer practice, state police said. State police are continuing their investigation and anyone with information is asked to contact the Punxsutawney barracks at 814-938-0510.

- Police receive a report about a suspicious person on Guinea Hill Road. It was listed as an unfounded incident by police.
