CLEARFIELD — Team Billotte pushed across three runs in the top of the sixth inning to defeat Team Peacock 5-2 in the 12th annual Bison Baseball Alumni Game at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field Saturday afternoon.
The two-day reunion of former Clearfield Area High School players drew 41 participants.
Most Valuable Player Awards went to Team Billotte’s Dave Richards (’03) for two hits, including the game’s lone home run and stellar defense in center field and Team Peacock’s Kevin Lykens (’95) for two singles and one run batted in while anchoring the inner defense at shortstop.
Oldtimers Tom Danver (’82) and Scott Collins (’86) added two hits apiece for Team Billotte.
Justin Hoffman (’11) was the winning pitcher and recipient of the Rookie of the Year Award.
Derek Danver (’11) and Jason Walker (’89) were selected for the Golden Glove Awards.
Chris Peacock (’91) was tagged with the loss.
The Home Run Derby went to extra swings with Aaron Rowles (’96) outslugging Adam Lansberry (’93).
Bison alumni should circle Sept. 16 as the date for next year’s game.
