CURWENSVILLE — The Clearfield Bison Junior Varsity football team made the short trip up river to Riverside Stadium Saturday morning and upended the Tide 34-20.
Ty Bender was the offensive star for the Bison rushing for 177 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries.
Bison quarterback Jude Pallo ran for one score and threw for another, a 15-yard strike to Spencer Graham.
The Bison (2-0) will hit the road again next Monday September 12 when they are hosted by the Central Dragons. They will next be at home on 9/19 when the Huntingdon Bearcats come to town.
