Spikes rally, but fall to Doubledays, 8-4

Down 8-1 headed into the bottom of the ninth, the State College Spikes nearly mounted a historic comeback as they brought the tying run to the plate, but ultimately took an 8-4 defeat at the hands of the Auburn Doubledays on Saturday night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park.
