Tyler Womer attended the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) for two years and recently graduated in June of 2015.

He was a student in the Automotive Mechanics program. He also did the co-op program his senior year with Blaise Alexander of Philipsburg.

During his time at CCCTC, he said the experience he gained helped him on his training site at Blaise Alexander.

When he started there, he was a detailer, and once a mechanics bay opened up, he was offered a position in light mechanic duty.

The hands-on training he did from day-to-day gave him a leg up on his career and is already paying off.

Once thing Womer mentioned is that both attendance and attitude are the keys to being successful once you graduate.

Womer is only one example of how CCCTC graduates use their education to strengthen the industry in their field of study.
