State police at Philipsburg
- State police received a report about an Act 64 violation that occurred April 28 on Sunny Side Hollow Road in Worth Township. Further, a female was allegedly found to be in possession of several controlled substances and paraphernalia. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- State police received a report about an incident involving drug possession April 23 on Houtz Lane in Halfmoon Township. Further, troopers were dispatched to an underage party, and a small amount of marijuana and glass pipes were allegedly found at the scene.
- State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred May 2 on Ernestville Road in Rush Township. During the incident, a male allegedly became involved in a physical altercation with the victim. Charges have been filed through the district court, state police said.
- State police investigated an Act 64 violation that occurred April 27 on North Ninth Street in Philipsburg Borough. Further, state police responded to a possible overdose, and a male was transported to the Mount Nittany Medical Center for treatment. He was also allegedly found in possession of illegal drugs and paraphernalia. Charges are currently pending against him at this time, state police said.
State police at Ridgway
- On Tuesday a Brockway woman was traveling south on Brandy Camp Road when she heard a loud bang. It was later discovered that she had a bullet hole in the passenger’s side of her vehicle, state police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at Ridgway at 814-776-6136.
DuBois City
- On Monday police received a report about a male who was on the ground in his yard on Shaffer Avenue. Upon arrival the male told police he was sleeping; he refused medical attention.
- Police received a report about an alleged domestic disturbance Monday on East Sherman Avenue. Upon arrival police learned there had been a verbal disagreement between a family member’s significant other and a parent. Police assisted at the scene with finding a peaceful resolution.
- Police are investigating the alleged theft of a Sony PlayStation 4. It was taken from an apartment in the 200 block of West Long Avenue, and police have a suspect at this time.
- Police received a report about an alarm Monday at the Q102 building in the 800 block of East DuBois Avenue. Upon arrival police located an open door and secured it. Everything else appeared to be OK at the scene, police said.
- On Tuesday police were dispatched to the 300 block of Quarry Avenue to check the welfare of a female who had dialed 911 and who dispatchers were unable to understand. Upon arrival police learned that she had accidentally dialed 911.
- On Tuesday city police received a report about an alleged incident of theft by deception from the DuBois Area School Police. Further, three females had fraudulently solicited donations for an alleged fundraising event. When collecting donations from residents, the females said it was for school events; however, it was for personal use, police said. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a domestic disturbance Tuesday in the 100 block of East Scribner Avenue. A juvenile male and his adult brother alleged to police that their mother pointed a knife at them and stated she would kill the juvenile and then stand over his bleeding body. Police obtained an arrest warrant for Stacey Miller, 38, of DuBois and attempted to take her into custody. However, police were unable to locate Miller at her residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact DuBois City police.
- Police received a report from a Clearfield woman who lost her diamond ring while at the Hahne Cancer Center on May 4. It is described as a Neal Lane design white gold ring with a total weight of two carets with the center being one caret. Anyone who finds the ring is asked to contact city police.
