The heavy rain that fell all day on Thursday spilled into Friday. Despite less precipitation, field conditions were still too wet at the Curwensville Area High School to have the Golden Tide and the visiting Brookville Raiders take to the diamond.
With such field conditions, Friday’s game between the two teams was postponed, and no makeup date has been announced at this time.
Curwensville (4-7) has two games next week. Tuesday they will host their rivals up the road, Clearfield, and then travel Wednesday to face St. Marys. Both games are set for 4:15 p.m. first pitch.
