3 people detained in Brussels in connection with Paris terror attacks

The net of suspects from the Paris terror attacks has once again reached Belgium, with three people detained in the Brussels area Tuesday.

A judge is expected to decide Wednesday whether to hold the people detained, the Belgian prosecutor said.

The shootings and bombings on November 13 killed at least 130 people in Paris. The investigation led authorities to Belgium, where suspects had ties.

Last month, Paris terror suspect Salah Abdeslam was captured in the Brussels suburb of Molenbeek.

Terror analysts have speculated whether Abdeslam’s arrest prompted the terror attacks in Brussels four days later.

At least 32 people died in the March 22 bombings at the Brussels Airport and at a subway station.
