A suicide bomber killed 22 people and left dozens injured south of Baghdad on Sunday, Iraqi police officials said.
The attacker was driving a truck laden with explosives. He targeted a security checkpoint in Hilla, wounding 57 others, police said.
Hilla is in central Iraq, 62 miles (100 kilometers) from Baghdad.
