Lycoming County was formed from part of Northumberland County in 1795. As of the 2010 census, the County has a population of 116,111.

Between the vast woods of Loyalsock and Tiadaghton State forests and the downtown of Williamsport, lying along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River, Lycoming County offers residents a wide variety of lifestyles.
