MEADVILLE — In the 37th, and largest ever with 26 teams participating, Tool City Wrestling Tournament at Meadville High School; the Clearfield Bison advanced six wrestlers to the quarterfinals and are in fourth place after the first day of competition.
Wrestling action starts at 9:00 on Saturday morning with Matt Ryan – 106, Josiah McClarren – 132, Logan Gilbert – 138, Luke McGonigal – 170, Travis Ogden – 195, and Nate Lash – 220, looking to advance through the championship bracket.
General McLane, with 64 points, has the early lead in the team race, though the top eight teams are only separated by 11 points.
Clearfield started the second day of action with 57 points and are in fourth place.
