A collision between a tourism bus and a passenger van in southern Mexico killed 13 people and injured seven others, local authorities said.
The large tour bus was empty, but the passenger van was carrying families who were returning from a martial arts competition. Three children and seven women were among the fatalities, the state government of Oaxaca said Sunday.
The accident occurred Saturday evening in area known as Los Limones.
The government of Oaxaca has offered additional resources for transporting and caring for the injured.
