We’ve all heard what will happen around the world if climate change isn’t limited to 2 degrees Celsius. Island nations could be submerged, weather could get more severe and a third of species may be at risk for extinction.
But how will climate change affect you locally? What would worry you most in your own community if global warming crossed that 2-degree threshold?
Whether you’ve noticed sea level rise near your home or you’re concerned about wildfires getting worse or a water shortage, we want to hear what’s worrying you the most about climate change in your local area.
Here’s what to do. Grab your camera and go outside so we can see where you are. Turn the camera on yourself and complete the following statement:
“I’m [name] from [city and country], and I think two degrees is too much.”
Then, in 30 seconds or less, show or tell us why.
Once you’ve completed your video, upload it below. You can also share it with us via Twitter, Facebook or Instagram by tagging #2degrees — just make sure your post is public so we can find it.
Make sure to share your video by December 4. The best submissions will be featured as part of CNN’s ongoing Two Degrees project.
