Clearfield’s German Honor Society Hosts Sadie Hawkins Dance to Benefit Children in Need

CLEARFIELD – This past Saturday, more than 150 Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School students enjoyed “Dancing through the Decades” at the Sadie Hawkins Dance.

Couples dressed alike in costumes from various decades, the most popular being the 1920’s, 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s.  Prizes were awarded to the three best-dressed couples.

The Sadie Hawkins dance was sponsored by the Clearfield German Honor Society.  All proceeds from ticket sales will be used by honor society members to purchase Christmas gifts for 12 local children of needy families through the Children’s Aid Society.

Caleb Strouse and Erica Hanes won first prize for the best-dressed couple at the dance.
