Boater Safety Program Offered to LHU Clearfield Students

CLEARFIELD – Vance Dunbar, waterways conservation officer, and David Twoey, deputy waterways conservation officer, both of the Northcentral Region of the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, recently offered the Basic Boater Safety Certificate program to students in the Conservation Law Enforcement course Criminal Justice 220 at Lock Haven’s Clearfield campus.

The course provides an overview of the conservation law enforcement officer’s role and duties in enhancing, protecting and conserving natural areas and wildlife in the United States, with a special focus on Pennsylvania.

The training supports the learning outcomes of the course. Dunbar and Twoey are pictured with the Criminal Justice 220 students at LHU Clearfield.
