Clearfield Borough
- Police were advised that a male needed an ambulance for medical problems near the area of East Pine and North Fourth streets. Police were cancelled by emergency responders while en route to the scene.
- Police received a report about the operator of a vehicle who allegedly refused to obey the road block cones that were being used along South Second Street for a construction project.
- Police received a report about a vehicle that was allegedly damaged overnight Wednesday night into Thursday morning while it was parked along South Third Street. The suspect vehicle, which caused the damage, fled the scene, police said.
- Police had property turned into them after it was found lying along South Second Street. Police will turn the property over to the owners.
- Police responded to the Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital for a patient who was allegedly being disorderly. Police responded and assisted staff with getting the patient to calm down and to seek treatment.
- Police were called for a suicidal male along South Front Street. Upon arrival police said the male was cooperative and transported to the hospital for mental health treatment.
- Police were called to the area of South Park for a suspicious male who was walking toward Route 879. Police searched the area and were unable to locate the male.
DuBois City
- Police received a request to check the welfare of a Chestnut Avenue man on Monday. Further, police said a neighbor was concerned because he hadn’t seen the man or his dog, and he felt that indicated a problem. Police went to the residence and found the man wasn’t at home. Police asked the neighbor to call if the man didn’t return home.
- Police received a report about an accident Monday on North Main Street. Further, a vehicle was stopped and its operator was waiting to make a turn when it was rear-ended by another vehicle. No injuries were reported, and one vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
- Police received a report about an alleged theft that occurred Monday on North Park Place. Further, the victim told police that cash and two additional items were stolen from their apartment. The victim gave police a possible suspect, and the incident remains under investigation at this time.
- Police received a report about a two-vehicle accident Tuesday at the intersection of South Main Street and West Weber Avenue. Further, a vehicle was stopped on West Weber Avenue and pulled into the path of another vehicle traveling on South Main Street. Both vehicles sustained major damage, and one operator was treated at the DuBois Penn Highlands Hospital, police said.
- Police received a report about a suspicious male Tuesday on the campus of the DuBois Business College. He wasn’t a student and was allegedly trying to get someone to send e-mails to him. He had allegedly stopped at the school twice, and students were concerned by his behavior. Police located the male and determined he was from Georgia but staying in the area. He was asked not to trespass on school grounds and provided directions to the DuBois Public Library. Police said the male left without further incident.
- Police were dispatched to a two-vehicle accident Wednesday at the intersection of East DuBois Avenue and Division Street. Upon a brief investigation, police found the operator of a vehicle had failed to stop for a red light while traveling on East DuBois Avenue and impacted a vehicle traveling on Division Street. No injuries were reported, and one vehicle was towed from the scene, police said.
- Police were dispatched to an activated burglar alarm Wednesday in the 400 block of South Brady Street. Upon arrival police found there was a meeting, and it was an accidental activation.
- Police received a report about a known male who was allegedly outside of the caller’s residence and knocking on doors and windows Wednesday in the 600 block of Chestnut Avenue. Upon arrival police learned the male had fled the area prior to their arrival.
