Big Innings Carry Clearfield Past DuBois in Fall Ball

CLEARFIELD — The Clearfield fall ball baseball team scored seven runs in two different innings en route to a 21-13 win over DuBois at the Lawrence Township Recreation Park Field Thursday evening.

Justin Fedder paced Clearfield’s 13-hit attack with a double and three singles.

Seth Bumbarger drove in five runs with a triple and a double, and Evan Brown added three RBIs with a triple and a single.

Marcus Luzier was the winning pitcher and also had a double.

Clearfield (3-2-1) will host West Branch in a 1:30 p.m. game Saturday and then make the long trip to Juniata for a 1 p.m. doubleheader Sunday.
