CLEARFIELD – An Ohio woman who swore at employees and threatened to blow up a Sheetz store was sentenced during plea and sentencing court.
Before he accepted the plea from Laurie Abbas, 41, of Fairport Harbor, Ohio, Judge Fredric J. Ammerman asked her not to return to Clearfield County.

Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest
DUBOIS – A routine traffic stop has resulted in charges against a DuBois man.
According to an affidavit of probable cause, filed with District Judge Patrick Ford’s office Sept. 8, Johnny Weylin Petrillo, 32, 409 Burt St., DuBois, is charged by the DuBois City police with possession of drug paraphernalia.
