Donald Trump: ‘No problem’ with Fox News

Donald Trump is — once again — setting aside his beef with Fox News.

The real estate mogul told conservative radio host Laura Ingraham on Wednesday that he’d just spoken with Fox News chief Roger Ailes, calling the long-time Republican operative “great.”

“Roger Ailes is a special guy, he’s a good friend of mine, and we just spoke two minutes ago,” Trump said.

He even suggested he’d stop tweeting about Megyn Kelly, praising the Fox News anchor’s Tuesday night show after weeks of publicly criticizing her for tough — and, Trump has argued, unfair — questions in the first GOP presidential primary debate.

“I have much bigger things to think about, honestly,” Trump told Ingraham.

He dismissed criticism of his highlighting a supporter’s comment calling Kelly a “bimbo” earlier this week, saying dismissively: “That was a retweet.”

Trump’s comments came the day after he ejected Univision anchor Jorge Ramos — who interrupted his Tuesday evening press conference in Iowa with a series of immigration questions — from the event. Ramos was later allowed back in, and Trump fielded several of his immigration questions.

Trump said he doesn’t have any lingering hard feelings about Kelly or Fox News.

“No, I have no problem — and I actually liked her show very much last night, if you want to know the truth,” he said of Kelly.
