Dear Editor:

As the District Attorney of Clearfield County, I know first-hand how vital experience and steady leadership are in keeping communities safe.

I am also personally aware of how important the relationship is between the Attorney General and the District Attorneys throughout the Commonwealth.

That is why the Attorney General’s Office demands someone with real prosecutorial expertise, and why I believe Dave Sunday is the right choice for Pennsylvania.

During his tenure as the District Attorney of York County, Dave has built an impressive track record.  He has spent years on the front lines, confronting complex challenges head-on, from prosecuting violent offenders to tackling the opioid crisis to protecting vulnerable seniors from fraud and exploitation.

He has worked aggressively to prosecute dangerous criminals, while also co-founding the York Opioid Collaborative and working through his Elder Abuse Task Force.

Dave has clearly evidenced that he believes in a dual focus of both accountability and prevention, and that is exactly what Pennsylvania needs at the state level.

Dave’s service to others extends beyond the courtroom.  As a Navy veteran, Dave brings a unique perspective grounded in discipline, service and perseverance.

His career exemplifies the kind of dedication and problem-solving that we need in our Attorney General.

This election offers us the chance to elect a proven leader with the integrity and experience to build a safer future in our Commonwealth.

I urge my fellow Pennsylvanians to join me in voting for Dave Sunday for Attorney General on Nov. 5.

Sincerely,

Ryan P. Sayers
